INTRODUCTION
In this task, you will create an implementation plan. You will evaluate and analyze the proposal and solution from the approved capstone healthcare management opportunity or area of need from Tasks 1 and 2. The proposed plan and solution from Task 2 will be the foundation for the implementation plan.Note: You must submit and pass both Tasks 1 and 2 before Task 3 can be submitted.
REQUIREMENTS
Your submission must be your original work. No more than a combined total of 30% of the submission and no more than a 10% match to any one individual source can be directly quoted or closely paraphrased from sources, even if cited correctly. The similarity report that is provided when you submit your task can be used as a guide.
You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submission because it provides detailed criteria that will be used to evaluate your work. Each requirement below may be evaluated by more than one rubric aspect. The rubric aspect titles may contain hyperlinks to relevant portions of the course.
Tasks may not be submitted as cloud links, such as links to Google Docs, Google Slides, OneDrive, etc., unless specified in the task requirements. All other submissions must be file types that are uploaded and submitted as attachments (e.g., .docx, .pdf, .ppt).
A. Propose a detailed implementation plan for the solution to the healthcare management or administration opportunity or area of need from Task 2 by doing the following:
1. Describe any required revisions or additions to policies, procedures, or systems.
2. Outline the estimated costs of implementation.
3. Create a timeline for implementation that includes key tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
4. Describe two key outcomes anticipated from your proposed solution.
5. List two potential obstacles to the proposed solution and two possible strategies for mitigating these obstacles.
B. Create a detailed communication plan that includes the following:
• two key internal and two key external stakeholders
• the information needed by the identified stakeholders for their unique needs
• the effective communication channels for providing updates to the identified stakeholders
C. Propose a detailed change management plan that considers those directly impacted by doing the following:
1. Explain an approach for managing resistance to change. Include two specific details as supporting evidence for the approach.
2. Describe the training and education needed for staff. Include two specific examples as supporting evidence.
3. Describe a method to monitor the effectiveness of the change. Include two specific examples as supporting evidence.
D. Create a multimedia presentation (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) for stakeholders from part B, including a slide deck (suggested length of 5–8 slides) with presenter notes on each slide, that covers the following components:
• the identified opportunity or area of need
• the proposed solution and how it addresses the opportunity or area of need
• the feasibility of the proposed solution
• the impact on healthcare effectiveness for the organization or community
E. Acknowledge sources, using in-text citations and references, for content that is quoted, paraphrased, or summarized.
F. Demonstrate professional communication in the content and presentation of your submission.
